The Brea Olinda School District is dishing out $120,000 to buy Gateway personal computers for Brea Olinda High School. This is the second major purchase of computers for the school district this year. The money comes from a Digital High School grant the district has been working on since 1997. Brea Olinda High School Principal Doug Kimberly said the high school plans to buy a computer for every classroom at the high school and to modernize the library. He said the school would purchase between 150 to 180 computers, depending on the cost.
