Nancy Becker Kennedy will perform her autobiographical one-woman show, “I Had to Break My Neck to Get Here,” Saturday night at Exile Books & Music, 14925 Magnolia Blvd., Sherman Oaks. Kennedy suffered a spinal-cord injury at 20 that left her a quadriplegic. Two years ago, as she was about to become the first person in a wheelchair to be a series regular on a CBS-TV prime-time sitcom, her life took another detour when she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
