San Luis Obispo 35, Hueneme 7--The Vikings scored first but San Luis Obispo dominated the second half at Hueneme.

Mark Payne of Hueneme intercepted a pass by Sean de la Motte and returned it 50 yards for a touchdown that gave Hueneme (6-6) a 7-0 lead in the first quarter. However, the Vikings were held to only 34 yards in the first half.

Jose Rosales of Hueneme completed 14 of 24 passes for 159 yards. Rosales connected with Keary Colbert for eight completions for 70 yards. He completed three passes to Gherette Levette for 56 yards.

San Luis Obispo (11-1), whose only loss was by forfeit, tied the score, 7-7, on an 11-yard pass from de la Motte to Bryon Holloway with two minutes to play in the half. The Tigers took a 14-7 lead late in the third quarter on a one-yard touchdown run by Scott Garrison.

Khalid Elmasri, who rushed for 188 yards in 20 carries, ran 39 yards for a touchdown with 10:23 to play to make the score 28-7.
