GARDEN GROVE
A groundbreaking ceremony will be held today for a new 14-story Embassy Suites Hotel on Harbor Boulevard just north of Chapman Avenue. The $50-million project is one of six new hotels planned for the city’s Harbor Hotel District. The 10-acre facility will have a pool, spa, restaurant, and conference space. The new hotel is expected to bring up to 500 new jobs to the area, officials said. Construction is expected to be completed in the spring.
