Crespi 12, Burbank 7--Defensive end Jason Lance sacked Romeo Joudi on the Crespi 23-yard line with 41 seconds remaining to preserve the host Celts’ victory.
Lance, one of 24 sophomores on the Crespi roster, sacked Joudi twice in the final minute. His second sack ended a 17-play Burbank drive.
Crespi (1-3) scored the go-ahead touchdown when Donnelly Pyle scored on a two-yard run with 8:08 left in third quarter, giving the Celts a 12-7 lead.
Garrett Dahlia led the Bulldogs (1-3) with 55 yards in 14 carries and scored on a four-yard run midway through the second quarter to give Burbank a 7-0 lead.
