The Fullerton Museum Center will present two programs on the art and traditions of India on Oct. 17. Author Stephen Huyler, an art historian and cultural anthropologist, will give a slide lecture on “Painted Prayers: Women’s Art in Village India,” the title of his book, at 2:30 p.m. Malathi Iyengar and the Rangoli Dance Company will follow at 4 p.m. with a sacred dance from India interpreting Hindu mythology. Admission is $3 for adults, $2 for students with identification and free for children under 6 and museum members. The museum is at 301 N. Pomona Ave. Information: (714) 738-6545.
