Pop Chart: Creed, buoyed by the hit “Higher,” stayed atop the nation’s album chart this week as its sophomore album, “Human Clay,” sold 190,000 copies, according to SoundScan. Guitar legend Carlos Santana’s “Supernatural” climbed to No. 2. Among the week’s debuts: releases by Live (No. 4), Melissa Etheridge (12), Paul McCartney (27) and David Bowie (47).

Domestic Partners, Again?: Just two months after a London court nullified their nine-year marriage, Rolling Stones front man Mick Jagger has reportedly moved back in with model Jerry Hall, though the two are said to be maintaining separate bedrooms and not living as a couple. Quoting an unnamed source, London’s Daily Mirror newspaper reported Wednesday that Jagger has moved back into the $6.6-million London home that Hall now owns under their separation deal, an arrangement said to be especially favored by the couple’s four children.

Fox’s Fix: Reacting to sluggish ratings, Fox is pulling the animated sitcom “Family Guy” indefinitely, while yanking the Hollywood spoof “Action” and the drama “Get Real” during the November ratings sweeps. The network will use movies and specials to fill the gaps, saying “Action” will return in December.

BMG Entertainment has filed a $150-million federal lawsuit against ‘N Sync and Jive Records, attorneys say. The suit was triggered by the boy band’s announcement that it would walk away from its contract with BMG’s RCA Records to release its albums through Jive. . . . Bob Dylan made his TV sitcom debut on Tuesday in an unbilled cameo on ABC’s “Dharma & Greg,” in a scene in which Dharma (Jenna Elfman) tries out as a drummer for his band. Dylan apparently agreed because of a friendship with a writer on the show; however, he insisted on no advance publicity and ABC wouldn’t confirm his appearance just hours before the show aired. . . . “CSNY2K,” Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young’s first tour since 1974, will include stops at the downtown Staples Center on Feb. 12 and the Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim on Feb. 15. The quartet’s new album, “Looking Forward,” is due in stores Oct. 26. . . . The Walt Disney Co. is planning a film on the life of David Kaczynski, who turned in his brother, convicted Unabomber Theodore Kaczynski, to authorities. Jon Avnet is set to direct. . . . Rosie O’Donnell is teaming up with the Web site https://www.etoys.com to create “Rosie’s Readers,” a kids’ reading initiative to be promoted regularly on her talk show. She kicks off the project today with guest author J.K. Rowling (“Harry Potter”). . . . Fox Searchlight Pictures has acquired the domestic distribution rights for “Titus,” stage director Julie Taymor’s (“The Lion King”) feature film debut. Anthony Hopkins and Jessica Lange star.
