The Latino-Jewish Roundtable of the Anti-Defamation League of Orange County has asked the Anaheim Union School District board to repeal its August vote seeking federal reimbursement of funds spent on illegal immigrant students.
At the board’s Oct. 5 meeting, Joyce Greenspan, regional director of the Orange County Anti-Defamation League, called the proposal “mean-spirited” and said it fostered an atmosphere of racism and intolerance. Board members had no comment.
