The Mission Viejo Library will celebrate its second anniversary Oct. 23.
There will be several activities taking place at the library, starting at 10 a.m. with a bookstore sidewalk sale, followed by drop-in story time from 10:30 to 11 a.m. in the Wickiup Room.
The Mission Viejo Sweet Adelines will perform in the Kershaw Garden from 11:30 a.m. to noon, and there will be a clown performance in the garden from 2 to 3:15 p.m. The day will end with a presentation of the Readers Theater at 7 p.m. in the Sherri Butterfield Community Room.
The Saddleback Valley chapter of the National Charity League will provide free cookies, coffee and lemonade. Information: (949) 830-7100.
