Share

Trans Continental Records is accepting videotaped submissions through Oct. 27 for young men wanting to be considered for a new ABC series about the formation of a pop music boys band.

The series--from MTV Productions and Trans Continental Records founder Louis J. Pearlman, who is credited with discovering the Backstreet Boys and ‘N Sync--will feature five performers and will chronicle the real-life formation of an actual band.

“First and foremost is talent and drive,” Pearlman said regarding applicants’ qualifications. In addition, all applicants must be male, over the age of 18 as of Nov. 1, a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Winning applicants will be required to relocate to Orlando, Fla.
