Gas Guzzlers

A lot of baby boomers and those younger will not like this letter. I would like to see all owners of vans, SUVs, minivans and privately owned pickup trucks charged an additional $200 per year. That’s $100 for smog abatement and $100 for freeway and environmental damage. Can you say gas guzzler?

As for four-wheel drivers, may I suggest your next three road rallies be at Malibu Beach, the Santa Monica Mountains and then Yosemite National Park? Isn’t this what your auto company commercials say? Can you say gullible?
