Jane B. Jue; Restaurant Co-Owner

Jane B. Jue, a retired restaurant co-owner, died Tuesday at her home in Oxnard. She was 82.

She was born Oct. 5, 1917, in Canton, China. She married David Jue, and the couple moved to Ventura County in 1948.

They co-owned a Chinese restaurant called the House of Jue in Port Hueneme. In 1984, they sold the restaurant and retired.

She was a member of the Chinese Christian Church in Oxnard. She also enjoyed growing flowers and vegetables.

Jue was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years.

She is survived by daughter Donna Fiery of Reseda, sons Dean of Tallahassee, Fla., Gary of Oxnard, Rick of Ventura and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. today at Pierce Bros. Griffin Chapel in Camarillo. The service is scheduled at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Stephen Mak officiating.

Burial will follow at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park in Camarillo.

Arrangements are under the direction of Pierce Bros. Griffin Mortuary in Camarillo.
