PacifiCare Names Senior Vice President

* David Taaffe has been named senior vice president of national account sales for PacifiCare Health Systems Inc. Taaffe, who will be based in Cypress, had been with Prudential Insurance Co. for 13 years, most recently as vice president of sales for East Coast operations. He has also been vice president and chief financial officer, vice president of marketing and operations and vice president of sales for Prudential’s Western operations.
