Calabasas 31, Malibu 7--Justin Fenchel passed for two touchdowns and rushed for another at Calabasas.

Fenchel, who completed three of nine passes for 151 yards, connected with Dan Palmeri on a 55-yard pass to break a 7-7 tie early in the third quarter.

He completed a 74-yard pass to Kyle Rudow midway through the fourth quarter, giving the Coyotes a 24-7 lead. Fenchel rushed for a three-yard touchdown later in the quarter.

Malibu (3-4, 0-2) was led by Bernie Townsend, who rushed for 248 yards in 35 carries, and scored on a nine-yard run in the second quarter to tie the score, 7-7.

Michael Armacost rushed 17 times for 57 yards and scored on a one-yard plunge to open the scoring for Calabasas (3-4, 2-0).
