ORANGE
The Orange Unified School District voted in favor of studying the possibility of changing school schedules at six schools for the 2000-01 school year.
Due to enrollment growth, Anaheim Hills, Canyon Rim and Imperial elementary schools could be changed from single-track, year-round schedules to multitrack, year-round schedules, and Linda Vista Elementary could be changed from a traditional schedule to a multitrack, year-round plan.
A multitrack schedule offers four different schedules starting at different times of the year. A single-track schedule allows students to attend school year-round with shorter periods of time off.
Parents will be notified about the study by Nov. 1.
