The City Council on Monday selected the commemorative logo for the city’s 40th anniversary. The logo will be used for the year 2000 brochures, banners, fliers, commemorative items and promotional materials.
The logo was designed by Kristilyn Hess Goff, daughter of Fine Arts Commissioner Barbara Becker. The centerpiece of the logo is a tree encircled with stars and the words “Los Alamitos, 1960-2000” and “40th Anniversary.”
