Stanton students attending Wakeham Elementary School in Garden Grove have a new dress option this year--blue and white uniforms. Principal Angela Fasbender said the school uniform policy will be voluntary. “Very often in the lower grades it’s popular. Students in the upper grades often want to express their individuality.”
The new dress code is the result of a survey conducted last year. Fasbender said the survey made it clear that parents overwhelmingly favor uniforms.
