Planning and coordinating activities for seniors at the city’s Sea Country Senior & Community Center will be handled by new recreation coordinator Shannon Williams.
Williams, who started in the position this week, replaced former employee Bonnie Hagan, who is now working for the city of Long Beach.
About 200 seniors attend the 5-year-old center each day, said Cathy Angstadt, the center’s recreation supervisor.
