FOCUS: ORANGE COUNTY COMMUNITY NEWS : LOS ALAMITOS

Children 5 to 7 are invited to participate in a “peewee” flag football league, supervised by the city’s Recreation and Community Services Department. The league will focus on teaching kids the fundamentals of football through practice and games. The program begins Sept. 20 and concludes Oct. 27. Practice sessions are on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Oak Middle School, 10821 Oak St. A $27 participation fee includes a commemorative T-shirt and a banquet at the end of the season.
