Parents will be able to put their children to work after they complete the city-sponsored Grow Me a Garden class, which starts Sept. 23.
Children ages 2 1/2 to 5 1/2 will learn how to dig in the dirt, plant flowers, design flower pots and garden signs and make bird feeders in the four-week class.
The classes, which cost $27, will be taught by staff from the city’s Community Services Department at City Hall.
Grow Me a Garden will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursdays, at City Hall, 25201 Paseo de Alicia, Suite 150.
