Two hearing-impaired students and a Lynwood man were injured Wednesday when a car collided with a school bus.
The bus, driven by Jeanette James, 37, of Bellflower, collided with a Nissan Altima driven by Edgar Ovando, 64, said California Highway Patrol officer John Tye. The accident occurred about 7:35 a.m. at Rosecrans and Oleander avenues.
A 5-year-old girl suffered a cut above her left eye and was taken to King/Drew Medical Center, Tye said. A 9-year-old boy was treated at the scene for abdominal pain.
Ovando was treated at the scene for a minor ankle injury, Tye said. James and a third child who was in the bus were not hurt.
