FULLERTON
Actor Danny Glover, U.N. development program goodwill ambassador, joins NASA astronaut and Cal State Fullerton alumnus Tracy E. Caldwell as featured speakers at Friday’s convocation celebrating the university’s 40th anniversary.
The 11 a.m. convocation will take place on the green west of the Engineering and Computer Science complex on campus. Glover will deliver the keynote and also give a presentation to theater students. He will act as master of ceremonies at the Concert Under the Stars that evening. Information: (714) 278-4855.
Caldwell, one of the nation’s youngest astronauts, will appear at “The Final Frontier: America in Space” exhibit at 2:30 p.m. at the City of Brea Gallery, 1 Civic Center Circle. Information: (714) 990-7730.
