MISSION VIEJO
New Life Church and Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center have reached an agreement that will allow the church to renovate and occupy the Edwards Theater building on Crown Valley Parkway.
Staff has recommended that the Planning Commission approve the proposal at a recent meeting.
The church, which was in escrow on the theater, has sold the building to the hospital but will renovate and use the facility for about six years. The hospital will also use the building on a monthly basis when it does not conflict with church scheduling.
After the six years are up the hospital will have exclusive rights to the building.
