The Chapman University School of Film and Television is presenting a screening of “Stand by Me” attended by Oscar-nominated screenwriters Ray Gideon and Bruce Evans at 7 p.m. Thursday.
The movie is about four friends in the 1950s who search for a dead teenager’s body. The screenwriters will participate in a question-and-answer session after the film. The event is free and will take place at Argyros Forum, Room 208, 1 University Drive. Information: (714) 997-6765.
