Carlson Group Names 2 Vice Presidents

* Tom Ryan, business development manager, and John Johnston, director of information technology, have been named vice presidents for the Carlson Group in Costa Mesa, which provides consulting, design and implementation services.

* John W. Glaser has been named senior vice president, theology and ethics, at St. Joseph Health System in Orange. Glaser, who had been vice president, joined the health system in 1986.

* Rogelio Fernandez has been appointed executive chef at Taps Fish House & Brewery in Brea. He was previously executive chef at Cafe Tu Tu Tango at the Block in Orange, and before that spent five years with Morton’s of Chicago as executive chef/corporate trainer in San Diego and Sacramento. Victor Novak, formerly with Dock Street Brewery & Restaurant in Philadelphia, was named brewmaster.

* Timothy Barton, Lawrence Wolf and Stuart Jackson have joined Thomas P. Cox Architects in Irvine. Barton has previously held project management and production positions with Kaufman & Broad, William Hezmalhalch Architects and Dougherty+Dougherty Architects. Wolf was formerly with ETBA Architects, McLarand Vasquez & Partners and Ware & Malcomb Architects. Jackson had been with Danielian Associates and McLarand, Vasquez & Partners.

* Raymond Gronowski has been named vice president of network development for Prudential Real Estate Affiliates Inc. in Irvine. He will oversee franchise development efforts throughout the U.S. and Canada. Gronowski joined the company in 1992 as director of franchise development for the central region. He has also served as sector vice president for Prudential Real Estate in the Eastern region.

* Edward F. Snavely has been elected chairman of the advisory board for Destination Irvine, which makes policy decisions for the Irvine Chamber of Commerce’s Destination Irvine program. Snavely is area general manager of the Irvine Marriott.
