The Grand Canyon Railway, which recently began rail-air packages from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon, will begin packages from Long Beach on Nov. 20. Tickets go on sale Monday. The packages, starting at $439 per person, double occupancy, include round-trip air fare, a canyon tour, a 65-mile vintage train trip from the canyon to Williams, Ariz., and an overnight stay in Williams. A cow caught upside down in a tree and a mound of plastic fruit were among the sculptures unveiled last week on Paris’ Champs-Elysees, transforming the avenue into a massive outdoor art garden. The “Champs of Sculpture,” running through Nov. 15, features 52 works by contemporary artists from five continents. . . . The 600-room, $100-million Hilton Boston Logan Airport opened last week on airport grounds, connected to airport terminals via a sky bridge. Introductory room rates, through Oct. 15, start at $169. Last year they raked in $20 million, and so far this year, revenue is up 7%, officials report. Three-fourths of the money goes to the airport, the rest to the concessionaire.
