Dinner Tonight! : THE LAST MINUTE / DINNER IN 10 MINUTES : The Old College Pasta

Share

Here is my favorite college quick-and-easy dinner: Cook fettuccine according to package directions. While pasta cooks, thaw 1 cup of frozen chopped broccoli. (If you prefer to use fresh broccoli, boil it along with the pasta.) Heat up frozen breaded chicken nuggets, also according to package directions, figuring 4 to 5 nuggets per serving of pasta.

Drain the pasta. Toss it and broccoli with bottled mushroom Alfredo sauce over low heat until warmed through. Spoon pasta onto plates and top it with the chicken nuggets and fresh minced parsley, if you’d like.
