Bradley to Discuss Health Care Plans
Democratic presidential candidate Bill Bradley will unveil his proposals for health care during a speech Tuesday at Valley College.
The former New Jersey senator, who is challenging Vice President Al Gore for the party’s nomination for the 2000 election, is to speak at 10:30 a.m. at Monarch Hall. Admission is free.
The speech will be part of a four-day campaign swing through California, with two days in Los Angeles sandwiched between stops in San Francisco and San Jose.
The underdog candidate formally announced his campaign earlier this month when he appeared on the steps of his high school alma mater in Crystal City, Mo., promising “new leadership” and “deeper prosperity.”
