* The Persuasions, “Frankly A Cappella,” EarthBeat! The veteran vocalists sing Zappa. Unlikely but fitting--Frank gave them their first record deal.

* Supergrass, “Supergrass,” Island. The English band, fronted by the Gaz Coombes, tries a third time to transfer the back-home buzz to America.

* Travis, “The Man Who,” Epic. The Scots just won the Brit Award as best British band, and “Man” was named best British album.
