Alexander Gallardo certainly deserves an A+ for his photo, “Daylight Savoring” (April 3). I presume it took much planning in order to get such symmetry. The receding sun as a backdrop for the strolling people on the pier, perfectly positioned between the two lampposts, while in the foreground a surfer begins a ride on a developing wave. Wow! Definitely a saver.
