THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Monday:

BREA

* West Central Avenue: A minor was found in possession of tobacco in the 200 block at 6:14 p.m. Friday.

COSTA MESA

* Avocado Street: A 24-year-old suspect was arrested on suspicion of possessing marijuana or hashish for sale in the 200 block early Sunday.

DANA POINT

* Doheny Park Road: A 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of urinating in public in the 34000 block at 10:55 a.m. Friday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Euclid Street: Someone stole two cabinet drawers filled with invoices and account numbers from a business in the 18100 block at 7:49 a.m. Thursday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Broadway: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a revolver near Forest Avenue at 10:28 a.m. Saturday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* 40th Street: A laptop computer worth $2,000 was reported stolen from a residence Saturday afternoon.

* Irvine Avenue: The glass on a vending machine was broken and $45 worth of candy was stolen in the 800 block Thursday afternoon.

ORANGE

* The City Drive South: A report of a hit-and-run accident to a parked car in the 500 block at 10:35 a.m. Saturday.

* Heim Avenue: A report of gunshots heard in the 16000 block at 11:29 p.m. Saturday.

PLACENTIA

* Bradford Avenue at Orchid Drive: Five juvenile males were reported smoking marijuana and drinking vodka at 5:22 p.m. Sunday.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO

* Rancho Viejo Road: Deputies responded to a report of loud construction noise near Trabuco Creek Road at 7:20 a.m. Friday. The site manager said he would remind his employees to not start working until after 7 a.m.

SANTA ANA

* Barrett Lane: A report of burglary in the 12800 block at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday.

VILLA PARK

* Mesa Drive: A burglary alarm was triggered in the 18000 block at 4:23 p.m. Friday.

WESTMINSTER

* Beach Boulevard: A warrant arrest was made in the 15400 block at 5:28 p.m. Sunday.

YORBA LINDA

* Green Pine Way: A home was reported burglarized in the 17300 block at 9:41 a.m. Sunday

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports: Anaheim, Buena Park, Cypress, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Irvine, La Habra, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Seal Beach and Tustin.

Go to https://www.ocsd.org and click on “Sheriff’s Blotter.” Incident reports are updated every few minutes and cover the cities of Dana Point, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Stanton and Villa Park, as well as the county’s unincorporated areas.
