* Dr. Todd Lewis has been appointed vice president of medical affairs for IPC-The Hospitalist Co. in North Hollywood. He will work with physicians throughout the network to improve service. Lewis had been medical director at Pacific Hospital in Long Beach.

The company employs board-certified physicians who manage patients’ hospital care.

* Coyote Network Systems in Westlake Village announced three executive moves. Timothy A. Atkinson joins the company in the newly created position of general counsel and vice president of business development. Stephen W. Ogborn has been named to the newly created position of vice president Asian operations. Sara Barrington was named director of e-commerce marketing.

Coyote Networks provides telephone and Internet services.

* Mark Handler has been appointed executive vice president, international, for GO.com in North Hollywood. Handler oversees a variety of Disney businesses in Asia, Europe and Latin America.

* Robert A. Mello has been named vice president of International Remote Imaging Systems Inc. in Chatsworth and general manager of StatSpin, a division of IRIS based in Norwood, Mass.

IRIS manufactures and markets automated IVD Imaging systems for hospitals and clinical laboratories.

* Bland McCartha has been named vice president of business development for Archion in Burbank, a new company founded by Post Vision Inc.

Archion provides networked high-capacity video storage systems for the film and broadcast industries.

* Thomas Soucy has been appointed chief financial officer for the Neptune Society Inc. in Burbank.

The Neptune Society provides cremation services.

* Jerry Kornblau has been hired as vice president of global marketing for Need2Buy.com in Westlake Village. He will oversee the company’s marketing, public relations and advertising programs.

Need2buy.com is an online marketplace for buyers and sellers of electronic components.

* Nancy M. Berman has been appointed director emeritus/curator at large of the Skirball Cultural Center in the Sepulveda Pass. She will plan art exhibitions and acquisitions and conduct research for the center.

The Skirball Cultural Center is a nonprofit organization devoted to cultural programs to benefit American society and interpret the Jewish experience.
