* The dinner meeting of the National Assn. of Women in Construction will be held at 6 p.m. May 2 at the Radisson Hotel, 600 E. Esplanade Drive, Oxnard. The meeting is an “Industry Appreciation Evening” and will include scholarship and drafting contest awards.

* “A Planning Guide to LLCs and S Corps,” sponsored by Edward Jones investment firm, will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 11 at 3875-B Telegraph Road, Ventura. The program, broadcast over Edward Jones’ satellite system, is available to CPAs and attorneys.
