* Six of the world’s largest airlines said they would form an Internet marketplace to link carriers worldwide with goods and services vital to the business. The airlines will form a new U.S.-based company to create and operate a Web site to handle some $32 billion annually in purchases or sales of items such as fuel and fuel services, airframe, avionics and engine components, and maintenance services. The founding airlines are Air France, AMR Corp.’s American Airlines, British Airways, Continental Airlines, Delta Air Lines and UAL Corp.’s United Airlines.
