Accidents at Intersection
* Re “Residents Fight Restaurant’s Bid to Sell Hard Liquor,” July 27.
Having lived at the Cliff House back in the late 1980s, I can attest to the numerous (almost weekly) accidents at or near that intersection. It still boggles my mind that the obvious solution is to allow only right turns out of the Cliff House and right turns into it, thereby stopping cross traffic into freeway lanes.
It isn’t that much of an inconvenience to drive down to the freeway exit and get back on if it represents a saved life.
