LAGUNA WOODS
Board members of the Golden Rain Foundation voted this week to buy a new security patrol car for $20,000.
The vehicle, which will be used mainly to enforce traffic laws, will be outfitted with a camera that records each stop and other activities through the front window.
Security officers will wear wireless microphones, so even conversations officers have with residents are recorded.
