Residents can take advantage of a number of free health screenings between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday during a health fair at 202 La Habra Blvd.
Sponsored by Ameri-West Medical Associates, the fair includes free height and weight measurements, blood pressure screenings, and vision and hearing examinations. Other tests covering anemia, cholesterol, blood sugar and pregnancy will also be available.
Pamphlets and other information on local hospitals, the Gary Center and other city health services will be on display.
