A worker at an Anaheim construction site fell 36 feet Wednesday afternoon and was being treated at Kaiser Permanente Anaheim Medical Center, fire officials said.
The man’s name and condition were not immediately released. The accident happened at the site of an apartment complex being built on South Festival Drive.
The incident was the second this week in which construction workers in Anaheim were injured on the job. On Tuesday, two men working at Disneyland’s new Grand Californian Hotel were injured when a scaffolding gave way, dropping them about 25 feet onto a roof. Both had broken bones, but their injuries were not life-threatening, authorities said.
