The Police Department will conduct a sobriety checkpoint at an undisclosed location between 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 a.m. Sunday. A $417,000 grant from the state Traffic Safety Department enables police departments from Seal Beach, Cypress and Los Alamitos to conduct 16 checkpoints during the next two years.
