Artists Sought for Harvest Celebration
The city is calling for artists to participate in its Harvest Artwalk to be held downtown in October.
Interested artists are encouraged to attend a meeting Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Ventura County Museum of History and Art.
Participating artists are expected to organize exhibits of five or more of their own pieces in downtown studios, galleries or businesses and should be available to meet the public during the event on Oct. 21. The theme of the fall art walk will celebrate Ventura County’s art and agricultural bounty.
Artists can participate at no cost. The deadline for entries is Aug. 28.
The museum is at 100 E. Main St. For more information, call 677-3917.
