Regarding “Bridging Scandinavia” (July 30), about the new Oresund Fixed Link connecting Sweden and Denmark: We were in Copenhagen recently while on our way to Greenland. Like author Susan Spano, we found Copenhagen and Malmo, Sweden, to be very inviting cities. The train trip from Copenhagen to Malmo took us about 30 minutes, not 10 minutes. We took the ferry back to Copenhagen just to compare the two. The ferry took about 45 minutes. It’s a tossup, depending on how you like to travel.
We also want to mention that it is possible to buy a “Copenhagen Card, “ which is good for 24, 48 or 72 hours and covers travel on Copenhagen public transport (but not to Malmo), entry to certain museums, entrance to Tivoli Gardens and discounts around the city.
