Power-One Invests in New Power Technology Start-Up

Power-One Inc. in Camarillo has made a $3-million investment in a new power technology start-up, di/dt Inc., which develops DC/DC power supplies for the high-end server and communications markets.

As part of its investment, Power-One has obtained an exclusive license of di/dt’s technology for the communications industry.

The other major investor in di/dt Inc. is Stephens Group Inc., a private investment firm in Little Rock, Ark.

Power-One makes power conversion products designed primarily for the communications industry.
