* Theater--PCPA Theatrefest is scheduled to open productions at its two performance venues.

Ira Levin’s suspenseful “Deathtrap” will be staged at the Solvang Festival Theatre beginning tonight. Show times: Wednesday-Sunday, 8 p.m. Ends Sept. 3. $12.75-$16.50. The theater is at 420 2nd St.

“The 1940s Radio Hour”--opening Saturday at Santa Maria Marian Theatre--aims to re-create a live broadcast of “The Mutual Manhattan Variety Cavalcade” from the New York Hotel Astor’s Algonquin Room in 1942. The production includes a live band performing period works such as “The Chattanooga Choo-Choo” and “Boogie-Woogie Bugle Boy.” Show times: Tuesday-Wednesday, 2 p.m.; Thursday-Friday, 8 p.m.; Saturday, 2 and 8 p.m.; Sunday, 2 p.m. Ends Sept. 3. $11.50-$15.50. * Museum--The Santa Barbara Museum of Art will open the new exhibit “Paul Landacre: California Printmaker” Saturday. Featured is a small selection of works by one of California’s preeminent printmakers. Ends Oct. 29. * Elizabethan--The Santa Barbara Live Oak Renaissance Faire and Midsummer Market will continue this weekend at Live Oak Camp near Lake Cachuma. It features continuous performances on five stages, plus strolling entertainers, food and more. * Native Culture--The Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History will present the Native American Tachi-Yokuts Dancers on Sunday in Fleishmann Auditorium. The tribe’s ceremonial dance of Bear, plus other songs and dances of its people, will be featured. Northeastern neighbors of the Chumash, the Tachi-Yokuts are from the Central California valley near Lemoore.
