PLACENTIA
Council members have awarded a $196,000 contract to All American Asphalt for the second phase of the reconstruction of Yorba Linda Boulevard, from Linda Vista Street to Prospect Avenue.
The city on Tuesday agreed to pay $85,000 of the costs, with the remainder being covered by Yorba Linda and federal grants.
City officials expect construction to begin in early October and to take about 45 days to complete.
