That’s Enough on Slimy Rodman
* Re “Mr. Rodman’s Neighborhood,” (Aug. 14):
Please, please, please discontinue referring to West Newport as “Mr. Rodman’s Neighborhood” in both the L.A. Times and the Daily Pilot. First of all, why the “Mr.,” and how did it become his neighborhood?
It’s absolutely disgusting how, for some perverted reason, the media continue to worship this slimy, disrespectful ex-athlete.
I’ve lived in Newport for 47 years and am disappointed that both papers continue to encourage him by perpetuating articles on him. So he gave some kids $20 for lemonade. So what? He’s filthy.
Let’s get rid of him!
