Other hits followed, including “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood,” “I’m Crying,” “We Gotta Get Out of This Place,” “It’s My Life” and “Don’t Bring Me Down.” Burdon and the Animals were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994.
