The city will offer online computer courses in the fall, beginning Sept. 13 and running for six weeks at the rate of two lessons per week. The lessons will be supplemented by interactive quizzes, assignments, tutorials and online discussion areas. All materials will be made available to students through the Internet.
Courses being offered will focus on Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, the Internet, creating Web pages and graphics, grant-writing and SAT preparation. The fees range from $59 to $89 for six weeks, depending on the course. For demonstrations and course descriptions visit https://www.ed2go.com/yor
