Hemet Man Dies in Accident on the 91
A Hemet man died on the Riverside Freeway in Yorba Linda early Friday morning when his car overturned after crashing into another vehicle, authorities said.
The Orange County Coroner’s Office was still searching for relatives of the 50-year-old man late Friday.
He was traveling east near Imperial Highway at about 12:18 a.m. when he made an unsafe lane change and struck another vehicle, according to the California Highway Patrol. He then lost control of his 1993 Ford Escort, which flipped over on the shoulder.
The driver of the other car, a 62-year-old woman from Corona who also was driving a 1993 Ford Escort, was not injured.
