Events to Spotlight Trade Opportunities With China

Share

Even before the United States normalized trade relations with China, the world’s largest consumer market was already America’s fourth-leading trading partner. Now with annual congressional approval a thing of the past, trade with the Asian giant is expected to skyrocket. A group of trade experts plans to examine the short- and long-term opportunities for increased commercial interaction with China in a panel discussion Thursday at USC’s Davidson Conference Center. For information, call the World Trade Center Assn. at (213) 680-1888. Starting Friday, the insights of the trade experts can be put to work at the 2000 China Expo-USA, a three-day trade event at the Los Angeles Convention Center whose aim is to match U.S. and Chinese businesses in various industries. For information, call (626) 582-1068.
