Drunk Driver

* Re “Driver Who Killed 3 Jailed in New Case,” Nov. 29.
I love a good lawyer drama, but how different real life is.
Diane Mannes pleaded guilty to manslaughter after killing three young men and then was “good-timed” to serving two years. Then she was turned loose on us again, violated her probation and returned to problem drinking. She became falling-down drunk in public and then, on Aug. 11, blew a 0.28 when arrested.
This is the kind of repetitive public danger that kills.
Three strikes, anyone?
